ETH Zurich is offering the E4D Doctoral scholarships to individuals at the same time offering grants to individuals and promoting projects which are directly relevant for improving the livelihoods of poor people in developing countries.
The Engineering for Development (E4D) doctoral scholarship programme promotes the development of products or methods which are directly relevant for improving the livelihoods of poor people in developing or transition countries.
The grant sum is 175’000 CHF to cover the salary costs of the doctoral student for three years.
Eligibility: To be eligible for this doctoral grants, applicants must:
- Have applied to ETH Zurich for a doctoral study.
- Have completed their Masters and Bachelors degree.
- Have excellent results from previous educational programs.
- Preference will be given to citizens of least developed countries and other low-income countries according to the OECD classification.
