The Oprah Winfrey Leadership Academy invites applications from Young South African Girls to enroll for the special learning school in 2018.
The Oprah Winfrey Leadership Academy for Girls – South Africa is a residential boarding, special learning school with 300 students enrolled in Grades 8 -12. The Academy teaches the International Baccalaureate Middle Years Programme (IB MYP) in Grades 8 – 10. Grade 12 students write the Independent Examination Board (I.E.B.) NSC Examination.
Eligible Countries: South Africa
Eligibility: To be eligible for this scholarship program, applicants must:
- Be Females.
- Be currently in Grades 7, 8 or 9.
- Be South African citizens or permanent residents.
- Be from a family whose total household income is less than R10,000 per month.
- Be able to display leadership qualities.
- Be academically intelligent.
