The AKO Masters Scholarship is offered by the Department of Psychological and Behavioural Science (PBS) at the London School of Economics and Political Science.
The department is offering full (fees and a stipend) and tuition fees only scholarships in the 2024/25 academic year, generously funded by the AKO Foundation.
The programmes offered at LSE enable students to learn the core theories of social psychology and behavioural science, specialise in specific areas of interest, and conduct their own research.

- Demonstrate financial need.
- Reside in or be citizens of South Asia, Africa, or Latin America.
- Enroll in a one-year taught master’s program from specific PBS master’s programs listed below
Scholarship applicants are expected to demonstrate how studying at LSE will enable them to contribute to societal impact activities in their home region after the successful completion of their degree at LSE.
How To Apply:
Once you submit your application for admission to LSE, you will be given access to the Graduate Applicant Portal. This allows you to track all aspects of your application for admission and will include a link to the Graduate Financial Support Application.
Unless otherwise stated on the relevant scholarship page, all graduate study scholarships are all applied for through the Graduate Financial Support Application.
The information you provide through the Graduate Financial Support Application will be used to consider your eligbility for the Graduate Support Scheme.
If you complete the personal statement section of the Graduate Financial Support Application, you will also be considered for any other scholarships you may be eligible for. You do not need to submit a separate application for each scholarship.
Your financial information will not be considered as part of your application for admission to study at LSE.
