Applications are open for the 2025 Master Mind Ku Leven Scholarship in Belgium for international students, The Flemish Ministry of Education and Training awards scholarships to outstanding students from all over the world for Master’s programmes in Flanders and Brussels. A Master Mind Scholarship includes a grant of €10,000 and a tuition fee waiver per academic year.

Value: Scholarship holders receive a full tuition fee waiver and pay only a small annual administration fee.
-For reference, the 2023-2024 administration fee was €131.50; the 2025-2026 fee will be announced in December 2024.
-Recipients are awarded an annual allowance of €10,000 for up to two academic years.
Eligibility: all candidates must fulfil all conditions to be eligible:
- The applicant must apply for a master’s program at a Flemish higher education institution.
- The applicant should demonstrate high academic performance with a GPA of 3.5 out of 4.0.
- English language proficiency is required:
- Minimum IELTS score of 7.0, TOEFL score of 94, or C1 level on the CEFR.
- For arts programs: Minimum IELTS score of 6.5, TOEFL score of 90, or B2 level on the CEFR.
- Online language tests (IELTS Indicator and TOEFL iBT Special Home Edition) are accepted.
- The host institution will perform an academic review, and applicants must be accepted by the institution to receive the scholarship.
- Applicants can only be nominated by one Flemish institution; if preselected by multiple, they must choose one.
- Applicants from all nationalities, except Russian, can apply, provided their previous degree is from outside Flanders.
Programs not eligible include preparatory, bridging, and distance learning programs.
Students enrolled in Flemish institutions are ineligible, except those in preparatory programs for a master’s starting September 2024.
