The University of Edinburgh MasterCard Scholarships are for outstanding young Africans who have demonstrated leadership and academic excellence, have surmounted educational obstacles, and are dedicated to continuing their education on campus.

Type: Master’s
Value: Full tuition fees.
-Accommodation.
-Return air travel.
-Living cost stipend.
-Study materials, including a laptop.
-Access to a climate leadership program.
-Support for students with disabilities.
Eligibility: Applicants who:
-Demonstrate leadership skills and a commitment to making an impact on the climate crisis.
-Hold citizenship or refugee status in Sub-Saharan African countries.
-Have completed an undergraduate degree by September 2024.
-Have not previously completed a postgraduate degree. -Have faced barriers to education (financial, social, personal, health-related, etc.).
-Are 35 years or younger as of September 1, 2025.
