The Tasmania Graduate Research Scholarship is an opportunity for outstanding candidates to pursue postgraduate studies at the University of Tasmania, one of Australia’s leading universities.

University of Tasmania Fee Offset for up to 4 years (international candidates).
Living allowance stipend of AUD $33,511 per annum (2025 rate, indexed annually) for 3.5 years (PhD) or 2 years (Masters).

Tuition fee offset for up to 4 years (domestic candidates).

Eligibility: Eligible applicants must meet the following criteria:
-Applicants must not be receiving another equivalent award, scholarship, or salary exceeding 75% of the base Research Training Program stipend rate.
-Applicants must have completed at least four years of tertiary education studies, achieving at least an upper second-class Honours degree or equivalent.
-Candidates must undertake a full-time research Masters or Doctoral degree in 2025.
