The Australia Awards Scholarship 2026 offers full-time undergraduate or postgraduate programs at top Australian institutions, aiming to develop scholars’ knowledge and skills for home country development upon graduation. The Australia Awards Scholarships, funded by the Australian Government’s Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT), provide fully funded opportunities for international students from developing countries to pursue full-time undergraduate or postgraduate studies at top Australian universities and TAFE institutions.

Value: Successful applicants receive:
-Fieldwork allowance for eligible research-based courses.
-Full tuition fee coverage.
-Return economy-class airfare to and from Australia.
-Establishment allowance for accommodation, textbooks, and study materials.
-Contribution to Living Expenses (CLE) as a fortnightly stipend.
-Introductory Academic Program (IAP) before the commencement of studies.
-Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC) for the duration of the scholarship.
-Pre-course English (PCE) training, if required.
-Supplementary academic support to enhance learning.
Eligibility: Be a citizen of an eligible country (mainly from the Indo-Pacific region).
-Be at least 18 years old at the time of application.
-Meet the eligibility criteria set by their home country and the chosen Australian university.
-Fulfill the admission requirements of the selected institution.
-Meet the English language proficiency requirements.
-Commit to returning to their home country for at least two years after completing their studies, or they will be required to repay the full cost of the scholarship.
