Travel Bursary: Global Investigative Journalism Conference – South Africa, 2017

Are you a student in your final year of an undergraduate, honours or master’s journalism degree? If yes, then this is for you

The Global Investigative Journalism Conference (GIJC) is organizing a conference for investigative and data journalists to get to know your fellow investigative journalists from around the continent.

This conference is held once in two years, This 10th conference will be held in Johannesburg, South Africa, from November 16 to 19, and is being co-hosted by the Global Investigative Journalism Network and the Wits University Journalism Programme.

Eligibility: To be eligible for this scholarship program, applicants must:

  • be South Africans
  • be currently in their final year of an undergraduate journalism degree, honours or master’s degree in journalism
