The Association of South African Women in Science and Engineering (SA WISE) is an association for all those who support the idea of strengthening the role of women in science and engineering in South Africa.
The Association of South African Women in Science and Engineering (SAWISE) invites female students entering their Honours level/ 4th year of study to apply for the SAWISE scholarships.

Eligibility: To be eligible for this scholarship program, applicants must:
- be An African female student.
- have achieved an academic average of over 65%.
- be In any field of science and engineering. Medical fields are also included.
- exhibit outstanding personal qualities and a strong desire to make a contribution to their respective fields and to society at large.
- indicate financial need.
- be studying at one of following institutions: University of Cape Town, University of Johannesburg, University of KwaZulu-Natal, University of Pretoria, University of Stellenbosch, University of the Witwatersrand, and University of the Western Cape.
