Applications are open for the 2025 Scholarship Opportunities for International Students at Trent University in Canada. The University offers various scholarship opportunities available to international undergraduate students beginning their academic year.
Scholarships available include; Trent International Global Citizen Scholarships and Awards: A renewable scholarship for international students with strong academic performance, leadership potential, community service, and financial need.
-Trent International Program Tuition Levy Scholarship: Funded by Trent students, this renewable award is for students with high academic achievement, leadership, community service, and financial need.
-IB Student Global Citizen Awards: For international students who have completed an IB diploma, demonstrating academic excellence, leadership, community service, and financial need.
-Trent-ESL: English for University Student Scholarship: A renewable scholarship for international students enrolled in the Trent-ESL program, with a focus on academic success, leadership, community service, and financial need.
-Trent-United World Colleges (UWC) Scholarships: For UWC graduates entering Trent University with strong academic achievement, leadership potential, community service, and financial need.
-Maple Leaf Leadership Award: A one-time award for students from Maple Leaf Education System schools, recognizing academic excellence, leadership, and financial need.

-IB Student Global Citizen Awards: Provides up to $34,000 per year for tuition and fees, renewable for up to 4 years (total of $136,000).
-Trent-ESL: English for University Student Scholarship: Covers tuition and fees up to $34,000 per year for degree programs, renewable for up to 4 years (total of $136,000). ESL course fees are not covered.
Moore Family International Scholarship: Offers $12,000 per year, renewable up to $48,000 over 4 years.
-Trent-United World Colleges (UWC) Scholarships: Covers tuition and fees up to $34,000 per year, renewable for up to 4 years (total of $136,000).

Eligibility: the eligibility criteria include the following:
-You will need to fulfil the conditions of your conditional offer letter and register for courses to receive the scholarship amount.
-You must be an international student paying international fees.
-You will be studying in Canada on a study permit.
-You must have applied to an undergraduate degree program at Trent University for the Winter 2025, Summer 2025 or Fall 2025 intake. Postgraduate certificate and Master/PhD students are not eligible.
-You must meet Trent University’s Admission requirements, including general and degree-specific requirements and the English Language Proficiency Requirements. (Please note that students do not need an admission offer to apply for the scholarships and awards).
-You have a final high school average of 80% or more (Canadian Equivalent).
-You must submit a complete application through your myTrent portal before the “Apply Before Date” for each cohort.
