Applications are invited for Prospective students who wants to apply for financial support towards their accommodation costs.
The award will be paid towards University accommodation fees in the first instance; students transferring to privately owned accommodation (including privately owned properties let through the University) will receive the award as a maintenance payment.

Value Of Scholarships: The scholarship will be awarded worth up to £1,500 and annually for the full tuition fee-paying duration of the student’s program

How To Apply: This scholarship is available for application through the Scholarships and Funding catalogue.
- If you have applied for a Postgraduate Taught programme (e.g. MSc, MLitt, MRes, PG Certificate, PG Diploma, Conversion Diploma), you should apply for the Accommodation Award – Postgraduate Taught. You can apply for scholarships and funding by logging into My Application after you have applied for a Postgraduate Taught programme. You should wait until the next working day after submission before attempting to access My Application.
- If you have applied for a Postgraduate Research programme (e.g. PhD, MPhil, MFA), you should apply for the Accommodation Award – Postgraduate Research. After applying for your research course you will receive an email with instructions on how to access the Scholarships and Funding catalogue.
- If you are a current student at St Andrews, you can access Scholarships and Funding through MySaint. However, you should wait until after you have applied for your intended postgraduate programme before doing so, to ensure that the scholarship application is linked to that course.
