Applications are invited from suitable candidates who intend to study in universities or higher education institutions in France for their Master’s or Ph.D. studies.
The 2023-2024 scholarship offer will open in May 2023 for eligible candidates to apply. The award will include online French courses organized by the network of the Alliances Françaises. It may also include an internship in French Companies and organizations based in South Africa, depending on each laureate’s opportunities and profile. This program is open to all fields of study.

Eligibility: To be considered for the Scholarship Programme 2023, applicants are to meet the following criteria:
- Applicants must be from eligible African countries.
- Born on or after 1st January 1993.
- Applicants must have obtained relevant bachelor’s or master’s degrees in their fields from a recognized institution of higher learning.
- Applicants must be available to begin their studies in France in September 2024 if granted the scholarship.
- Must demonstrate excellent academic and research abilities.
