Mitsui & Co.,Ltd.(”Mitsui”, Head Office: Tokyo, President and CEO: Kenichi Hori)has established the “Mitsui & Co. Scholarship”, a scholarship program for international students from Asian/African countries and financially support their study at the International University of Japan (IUJ).
This scholarship aims to support the development of human resources who will contribute to the future economic development of Asian/African countries by financially supporting international students studying in Japan.
Application Deadline: 24th March 2022.
Eligible Countries: Bangladesh, Cambodia, Egypt, Ghana, India, Indonesia, Kenya, Laos, Malaysia, Morocco, Mozambique, South Africa, Myanmar, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Thailand, Philippines, Vietnam, or Singapore.

Eligibility:
- Applicants must be privately funded international students from Asian and African countries.
- Applicants must hold, or are expected to receive, their bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university in a country where 16 years of formal schooling is required.
- Applicants must submit English language proficiency proof. TOEFL IBT, IELTS, and TOEIC are accepted.
How to Apply: Applicants are required to complete their admission online on the university’s website. Students that want to be considered for the scholarship must pass the IUJ admission screening first.
