Fully Funded Scholarship at Queensland University of Technology, Australia

The Queensland University of Technology Scholarship is a fully funded study opportunity for international students to pursue postgraduate degrees in Australia. The QUT Postgraduate Research Award offers a full tuition coverage scholarship, which includes a stipend rate is $37,010 per annum, and overseas health coverage. 

Eligibility:  

• Meet QUT’s admission criteria for a research degree, which includes meeting QUT’s English language requirements
• Not be in receipt of another living allowance scholarship to undertake the research degree
• Enrol as a full-time, internal student (unless approval for part-time and/or external study is obtained).

Benefits of Queensland University of Technology Scholarship 2027

The Queensland University of Technology Scholarship covers the following;

• An annual stipend paid fortnightly to support living costs. From 1 January 2026, the annual stipend rate is $37,010 per annum (currently $33,637 for 2025)
• A maximum duration for the scholarship while undertaking a QUT PhD is 3.5 years and for a QUT MPhil is 1.75 years. This includes an extension of up to 6 months (PhD) or 3 months (MPhil), if approved for your candidature.
• This is the full-time, tax-exempt rate which will index annually.
• You will receive a tuition fee offset/sponsorship, covering the cost of your tuition fees for the first 4 full-time equivalent years of your doctoral studies or the first 2 full-time equivalent years of your master degree studies.
• International students also receive Single Overseas Health Cover if eligible.
