The Max Planck Institute for the History of Science, Berlin, Department III, Artifacts, Action, Knowledge, Directed by Prof. Dr. Dagmar Schäfer is inviting applications from outstanding scholars who are looking at pursuing a fellowship program at the Institution.
This Fellowship Program is dedicated to the study of the history of science and aims to understand scientific thinking and practice as historical phenomena.

Type: This is a 3 to 9 months long visiting fellowships programme
Eligibility:
- Applications from candidates in every field within the history of science, technology, and the environment are welcome, with some preference for projects looking outside or beyond traditional disciplinary, chronological, and geographical foci
- Outstanding scholars beyond the postdoc phase of their careers are invited to apply for participation in the Art of Judgement research cluster
