The Wales and Africa grants scheme is a grant fund for community groups and organizations throughout Wales that work with partnerships in Sub-Saharan Africa. The scheme enables community groups and organizations in Wales to access funding for small-scale projects that contribute to Wales’ delivery of UN Sustainable Development Goals and deliver benefits to Wales and Africa.

Eligibility: The aim of this grant is to:
- Assist African partners in combatting the immediate effects of covid-19
- Encourage stringent health & safety practices
- Make contributions to the following themes of the Wales Africa grants scheme:
- Health
- Sustainable livelihoods
- Lifelong learning
- Climate Change
It must be noted that this is a grant funding round in response to a global crisis. Requests for funding will need to strongly demonstrate the impact they will make for their African Partner in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
