Yale Young Global Scholars (YYGS) is an academic enrichment program for outstanding high school students from around the world. Each summer, students from over 150 countries (including all 50 U.S. states) participate in one interdisciplinary, two-week session at Yale’s historic campus. Eligibility: Must be 16–18 years old by July 20, 2025.
-Current high school sophomore or junior (or international equivalent).
-Must graduate in May/June 2026 or 2027 (Northern Hemisphere) or Nov./Dec. 2025 or 2026 (Southern Hemisphere).
-Must be fluent in English.
-First-time YYGS participants only (those who applied but did not attend are eligible to reapply).
