The international student non-resident scholarship tuition is a special award for Metropolitan State’s full-time international students have demonstrated good academic standing. It allows eligible students to pay tuition at the same rate as Minnesota residents.
The tuition scholarship is renewable for up to eight semesters for eligible undergraduate students and five semesters for graduate students, if all eligibility and renewal criteria are met and financial resources are available

Eligibility:
- Applicants must be admitted as a degree-seeking student
- Applicants hold valid international student status
- Applicants must be enrolled as a full-time student when making application and during the program period (minimum 12 credits for undergraduate and eight credits for graduate students)
How To Apply: Applicants are required to take admission in any degree program at the university. After being enrolled, they can apply for the application form and submit it to the International Services Office.
