The University of Dundee Scholarship is worth £20,000 payable over a period of four years for African students who are willing to pursue undergraduate or postgraduate degrees at Dundee.

The University of Dundee is offering scholarships of £4,000 per year of study – up to a maximum value of £20,000 – to applicants living in Africa.  

The Scholarships which provide living costs to all its beneficiaries, will be paid in monthly instalments, and are to be paid into a UK Bank account.

Value & Duration of Award: University of Dundee is offering scholarships of £5,000 per year of study – up to a maximum value of £20,000 – to applicants living in Africa.

The scholarship will be payable in piecemeal per year for the number of years your academic program requires.

Eligible Countries: Algeria, Angola, Benin, Botswana, British Indian Ocean Territory, Burkina Faso, Burundi, Cameroon, Cape Verde, Central African Republic, Chad, Comoros, Congo, Congo (Democratic Republic), Djibouti, Egypt, Equatorial Guinea, Eritrea, Eswatini, Ethiopia, Gabon, Ghana, Guinea-Bissau, Ivory Coast, Kenya, Lesotho, Liberia, Libya, Madagascar, Malawi, Mali, Mauritania, Mauritius, Morocco, Mozambique, Namibia, Niger, Nigeria, Rwanda, Sao Tome and Principe, Senegal, Seychelles, Sierra Leone, Somalia, South Africa, South Sudan, St Helena, Ascension and Tristan da Cunha, Sudan, Tanzania, The Gambia, Togo, Tunisia, Uganda, Zambia, Zimbabwe

Eligibility: To be considered for this Scholarship, you must meet the following criteria;

  • Applicants must have submitted an application to study at the University of Dundee for January 2025, and received an Offer for a full-time, on campus Course.
  • Hold International Fee Status as determined by the University of Dundee, which is communicated in your Offer letter.
  • Be currently residing in an African Country as highlighted in the country list (below).
  • International College Dundee applicants are eligible to receive this scholarship in the entry year to the main Degree at the University of Dundee.
