Fully Funded University of Pecs Stipendium Hungaricum Scholarship 2026

The University of Pecs Stipendium Hungaricum Scholarship is one of the fully funded scholarship opportunities funded by the Government of Hungary. The University of Pecs Scholarship provides full coverage of the costs of applicant’s tuition, accommodation, healthcare, and a monthly stipend of HUF 120,000 as contributions to the living expenses.

Eligibility: 

• Be an international student
• Be applying to an eligible undergraduate, master’s or PhD programs available at the University of Pecs
• Meet the requirement conditions for your chosen program
• Submit your application on or before the deadline.
• Be more than 18 years by August 2026.

Benefits: 

The provisions covererd by scholarship includes;

• Tuition-free education: exemption from the payment of tuition fees.
• Monthly stipend: 
  • non-degree, bachelor, master, and one-tier master level: monthly HUF 43 700 contributions to the living expenses, for 12 months a year, until the completion of studies,
  • doctoral level:  monthly HUF 140 000 for 12 months a year until the completion of studies.
• Accommodation: dormitory placement OR a monthly contribution of HUF 40 000 to accommodation costs for the whole duration of the scholarship period.
• Medical insurance: health care services according to the relevant Hungarian legislation (Act No. 80 of 1997, national health insurance card) and supplementary medical insurance for up to HUF 65 000 a year/person
