NEPL/OERNL JV Scholarship for Nigerian Undergraduates, 2026/2027

The NEPL/OERNL Joint Venture, through Oando Energy Resources Nigeria Limited, has officially opened applications for its 2026/2027 Tertiary Scholarship Scheme. This initiative is part of the company’s ongoing Corporate Social Responsibility efforts to promote higher education among Nigerian undergraduate students.

Application Timeline

• Applications opened: March 3, 2026
• Application deadline: April 1, 2026

Eligible students are encouraged to submit their applications well before the closing date to avoid disqualification.

Scholarship Categories

• Host/Transit Communities Merit Award – for students from Oando’s host or transit communities in Rivers, Bayelsa, Delta and Imo States.
• National Merit Award – for students from across Nigeria outside the host communities.

Eligibility Requirements

The scheme is open to:

• Registered full-time undergraduates in Nigerian tertiary institutions;
• Certified 100-level students at the time of application.

Not eligible:

• Students in 200 level and above;
• Current beneficiaries of similar scholarships from other companies or agencies;
• Dependants of staff of Oando PLC and its subsidiaries.

Application Process & Documents

Applicants must register and submit scanned copies of required documents, including:

• Passport photograph (white background, recent);
• School ID card;
• O’Level certificate and admission letter;
• Birth certificate and proof of local government area of origin;
• Letter from community leaders (for host community applicants);
• JAMB result, compliance form and other supporting documents.

Selection Procedure

Shortlisted candidates will be invited for an online aptitude test, and applicants must score at least 50% to be considered for the award. Only shortlisted applicants will be contacted for further communication.
