2017 Wellcome Trust Intermediate Fellowships In Public Health & Tropical Medicine

Wellcome Trust invites applications from mid-career researchers who are citizens of Low and Middle Income Countries. This fellowship covers a basic salary (determined by your host organisation), Personal removal expenses, Research expenses, directly related to your proposal.

Wellcome Trust also offers fellowships for TrainingMasters and Senior Researchers.

Eligible Field of Study: Public Health and Tropical Medicine.

Eligibility: To be eligible for fellowship, fellows must:

  • be citizens of a Low and Middle Income Countries
  • have a PhD or a degree in medicine and are qualified to enter higher specialist training
  • have three to six years postdoctoral experience.
  • have a strong track record in your area of research and show the potential to become a scientific leader.
  • have a research proposal that is within the public health and tropical medicine remit.
