2024 KAUST Technology Innovation and Entrepreneurship Program, Saudi Arabia

The Technology Innovation and Entrepreneurship (TIE) Program teaches the fundamental knowledge required to build an entrepreneurial mindset and develop commercially viable products that can benefit society.

The Technology Innovation and Entrepreneurship Program In Saudi Arabia uses an interdisciplinary, project-based approach, underpinned by scientific, data-driven research methods, students will gain a comprehensive understanding of the entire product development lifecycle, from ideation to prototyping to commercialization. Enrolled students will also learn how to think creatively, identify opportunities and take calculated risks — skills that will help them launch entrepreneurial ventures and/or secure positions in innovative companies within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and beyond. Qualified candidates will be invited for individual assessments, likely an online interview and/or participation in a two-day workshop.

Value & Duration of Award: Every admitted student receives full free tuition support and a range of covered services such as medical and dental insurance, housing accommodations, and travel to and from Shenzhen.

Eligible Countries: International Countries

Eligibility:

  • strong STEM-focused background
  • good GPA and experience with capstone projects / product development.
  • Students with undergraduate degrees in Electrical and Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering and Bioengineering will be preferred
  • Saudi nationals are strongly encouraged to apply.
