The scholarship awarded for selected online master’s programs at the university covers the full tuition fee coverage for the entire duration of the scholarship.
To be considered for the University of Edinburgh Online Scholarship, you must:
- Be a citizen from a developing country
- Be accepted into one of the eligible Human Medical postgraduate programmes offered by the University in the 2024-2025 academic session.
- Be committed to continue to work in countries that will benefit most from their furthered medical education.
- Priority will be given to those who have not had the opportunity to study at Masters level previously.

Value & Duration of Award:
- The scholarship will cover full tuition fees for the duration of the programme of study.
- For onsite programmes, duration is one year
- For online programmes, duration is 2 or 3 years
