2024 University of South Australia Scholarship

The scholarship award is open to domestic and international students with full funding including a tuition waiver, $32,500 annual stipends plus other benefits. 

The University of South Australia Scholarships are offered as Research Training Scholarships to Australian and international students.

Research Training Program international (RTPi) Scholarships are funded by the Australian Government and awarded to international students on the basis of academic merit and research potential.

Value & Duration of Award:

  • The total stipend is at least $32,500 per annum (2023 stipend rate) paid fortnightly over a maximum of 3 years for PhD students and over a maximum 2 years for Master of Research students.
  •  This scholarship includes Overseas Student Health Cover (Singles Cover) where the successful applicant requires a student visa. 
  • A thesis allowance is also available.

Eligibility: To be considered for this Scholarship, you must meet the following criteria;

  • Be an international student
  • Be applying for a Masters research degree or PhD program
  • Apply for a project from a list of available research projects
  • Meet the eligibility requirements for the project you are applying for
