Value of Award: This scholarship will cover Home/EU fees, a tax-free maintenance grant of up to £14,296 per annum and contribution to travel costs to present your research at national and international conferences. Enhanced stipends £19,000 per annum are available on industry supported collaborative PhD research projects. Studentships are also open to overseas students provided they can support the difference between home and overseas fees (£15,880).

Eligibility: To be eligible for this scholarship program, applicants must:
- be a UK or EU student
- have obtained a first-class degree in a numerate discipline (mathematics, science or engineering)
- have a strong interest in pursuing research
- have completed their bachelors and Masters degree program.
- have good academic records
