The French embassy in Accra offers scholarships to Ghanaian students who has interest in studying for a Masters and PhD degree program in any institution in France.
Value of Scholarship:
Masters: 2 return tickets to France
o Free Visa
o Free university basic registration fees
o Health insurance
o Living allowance of 440 Euros/month
Selected candidates will have to provide additional revenues of a minimum of 330 Euros/month – about 1422 GHC/month from a private source of funding, or personal revenues
PhD: 3 return tickets to France (1 for each stay)

Eligibility: To be eligible for this scholarship program, applicants must:
- be Ghana citizens.
- 35 years of age for Masters applicants, 40 years for PhD applicants.
- be proficient in English Language.
- have a bachelors degree for masters applicants and a Mphil degree for PhD applicants.

- Copy of full academic transcripts and certificates
- Curriculum Vitae
- Copy of birth certificate
- Proof of registration or pre-registration with a French university
- Description of the Research subject – 1 page (for PhDs candidates)
- Cover letter
- Reference letter from your Ghanaian University.
