2026 Excellence Scholarship at the University of Auckland, New Zealand

International students enrolling in undergraduate or postgraduate programs at the University of Auckland can apply for the International Student Excellence Scholarship, offering up to $10,000 towards tuition fees. The University of Auckland International Student Excellence Scholarship was established in 2016 to attract high-caliber international students to enroll in undergraduate or postgraduate study at Waipapa Taumata Rau, University of Auckland.

Scholarship Criteria: 

• International students who are neither citizens, permanent residents, nor resident visa holders of New Zealand or Australia
• New students who have received a conditional or unconditional offer of admission or an English Language Academy (ELA) student with a conditional or unconditional offer of admission.
• Students enrolled or enrolling in the Summer Start International program, with a conditional or unconditional offer of admission.
• Students must be enrolling full-time in either an undergraduate degree (with overseas secondary or post-secondary qualifications), PGDip, or master’s program, or specific engineering master’s programs at Waipapa Taumata Rau.
  
  Scholarship Benefits: The scholarship value is up to $10,000 toward compulsory tuition fees. The scholarship is a contribution towards tuition fees for undergraduate or postgraduate study at the University of Auckland.
