International students enrolling in undergraduate or postgraduate programs at the University of Auckland can apply for the International Student Excellence Scholarship, offering up to $10,000 towards tuition fees. The University of Auckland International Student Excellence Scholarship was established in 2016 to attract high-caliber international students to enroll in undergraduate or postgraduate study at Waipapa Taumata Rau, University of Auckland.
Scholarship Criteria:
- International students who are neither citizens, permanent residents, nor resident visa holders of New Zealand or Australia
- New students who have received a conditional or unconditional offer of admission or an English Language Academy (ELA) student with a conditional or unconditional offer of admission.
- Students enrolled or enrolling in the Summer Start International program, with a conditional or unconditional offer of admission.
- Students must be enrolling full-time in either an undergraduate degree (with overseas secondary or post-secondary qualifications), PGDip, or master’s program, or specific engineering master’s programs at Waipapa Taumata Rau.
Scholarship Benefits: The scholarship value is up to $10,000 toward compulsory tuition fees. The scholarship is a contribution towards tuition fees for undergraduate or postgraduate study at the University of Auckland.
