2026 York University Presidential Scholarship, Canada

Are you enthusiastic about the thought of pursuing a fully-funded undergraduate degree in Canada? To make that enthusiasm a reality, York University is offering the 2025 Presidential Scholarship. This scholarship awards a total of $180,000 annually to international students who are both eligible and keen to start their academic careers in Canada. 

Eligibility: 

• Be an international student requiring a Study Permit to study in Canada
• Have applied to a York University undergraduate degree program starting Fall 2025
• Apply directly from high school within two years of graduation, with no prior university or college studies (Tentanda Via Award exception applies)
• Maintain an “A” average or equivalent
• Demonstrate leadership in community service, or excellence in arts, sports, or other personal achievements
• Submit one letter of recommendation and other required documents
• Complete the International Student Scholarship Application by the deadline

Value: 

• Total value: $180,000 CAD over four years (~$45,000/year)
• Renewable each year for students maintaining good academic standing
