2027 Government of Japan MEXT Scholarship at Asia Pacific University, Japan

The Japanese Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science, and Technology (MEXT) is offering the fully funded scholarships to international students to study at the Asia Pacific University (APU). The fully funded APU Japan MEXT Scholarship will cover the full fees of admission and tuition for eligible candidates, as well as an annual stipend of $10,560.

Eligibility: 

• Be an international student eligible to study in Japan
• Be a national of a MEXT-designated country
• Be born on or after April 2, 1992
• Have achieved a GPA of at least 2.30 on a 3.00 scale at their most recent university.

Value: 

The APU MEXT Scholarship covers;

• Full admission fee
• Full tuition fee
• Monthly subsistence allowance of 144,000 JPY (including housing) (amount subject to change)
• Medical insurance
• Books and instructional materials
• Travel expenses (economy class airfare between the home country and APU at the beginning and end of the program).
