Nigerian Agip Exploration Limited (NAE) Postgraduate Scholarship, 2026/2027

Nigerian Agip Exploration Limited (NAE), acting on behalf of the NNPC/NAE PSC, is pleased to invite applications from qualified Nigerian graduates for its 2026/2027 Postgraduate Scholarship Award Scheme. This program is a cornerstone of the company’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative, aimed at enhancing indigenous manpower and professional development.

Scholarship Categories

The award is divided into two primary categories to accommodate diverse academic goals:

• Overseas: For advanced studies at reputable international universities.
• Local: For postgraduate programs at recognized Nigerian universities.

Eligibility

To qualify for the 2026/2027 NAE Post Graduate Scholarship Award scheme, applicants MUST:

1. Possess a minimum of Second-Class Upper Bachelor's degree from a recognized Nigerian university.
2. Have secured admission into a Nigerian or Overseas university (based on the category being applied for) for a one-year master’s degree programme in any of the disciplines listed below.
3. Not above 28 years of age by December 31st, 2026.
4. Have completed the one-year National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) programme.
5. Possess an international passport valid for travel at least one year from September 2026 (applicable to overseas category).

Course of Study
Only candidates with an offer of admission in disciplines related to the following areas should apply.

• Geosciences
• Engineering (Petroleum, Mechanical, Civil, Subsea, Electrical/Electronics, Marine, Chemical, Offshore, Environmental, Renewable)
• Petroleum Economics
• Law (Oil and Gas/Petroleum)

Please note:

1. ONLY Shortlisted candidates will be contacted for the aptitude test.
2. Shortlisted candidates will be contacted with details of the qualifying test via SMS text and Email (Ensure to provide valid email and phone contacts).
3. Employees of NAE and other affiliate companies and their dependents are not eligible for this scholarship
4. Current and past beneficiaries of similar awards from NAE, other affiliate companies, and agencies are not eligible.
5. Please ensure you understand the Instructions carefully before you start this application to avoid errors and disqualification. 
6. Strict compliance with the above guidelines is required. 

Completion of the application form and test invitation shall NOT be construed as a commitment on the part of the NNPC/NAE PSC nor shall it entitle applicants to make any claims whatsoever and/or seek any indemnity from NAE and/or any of its partners by virtue of responding to this invitation to apply for Post Graduate scholarship award.

The NAE scholarship award applies to tuition, books, field trips, accommodation, living expenses, and a return economy ticket for a selected one-year course of study.

Prospective candidates should keep the following schedule in mind to ensure their eligibility:

• Application Deadline: All entries must be submitted no later than May 7th, 2026.
• Selection Test: Shortlisted candidates will sit for a Computer Based Test (CBT) on May 30th, 2026.
• Test Delivery: The CBT will be conducted using a Remote Online Proctoring Test System, allowing candidates to participate securely from their locations.
