Tuition Free Scholarships At American University UAE, 2017-2018

The New American University is offering opportunities to students who would like to pursue their studies at United Arab Emirates (UAE).

Up to 40 scholarships are available to applicants of all nationalities but priority will be given to applicants from the United Arab Emirates.

Application Deadline: July 30, 2017.

Scholarship Value: The scholarship is applicable to tuition fees only (courses) and not for any other fees. The Scholarship will not include/cover any courses to be taken outside American University in the Emirates (AUE) (Inside and outside UAE).

Number of Scholarships: Up to 40 scholarships are available.

Type: Undergraduate and Masters 

Scholarship can be taken in UAE

Nationality: Applicants of all nationalities are eligible to apply for these scholarships. Priority will be given to applicants from the United Arab Emirates.

Eligibility: The following criteria must be met in order for applicants to be eligible for the scholarship:

Requirements & documents for Undergraduate applicants

  1. High School Diploma attested by the concerned authorities with minimum final average of above 90% (or its equivalent).
  2. Recommendation letter from school (Not older than 3 months)
  3. English proficiency Certificate with the below score:
    • ILETS: 5.5
    • TOFL PBT: 527
    • TOEFL IBT: 70
    • EmSAT English 1250
  4. Motivation letter that clearly states the intended College/ Program/ Major.
  5. Certificate of good conduct from both previous school and police.
  6. Four passport size photographs
Requirements & documents for Graduate applicants
  1. Bachelor Degree Certificate from an accredited university by the UAE Ministry of Education, with minimum CGPA of 3.6 out of 4.0, or its equivalent.
  2. Recommendation letter from two faculty members at the previous university.
  3. English proficiency Certificate with the below score:
    • ILETS: 6.5
    • TOFL PBT: 577
    • TOEFL IBT: 90
    • EmSAT English 1550
  4. Motivation letter that clearly states the intended College/ Program/ Major.
  5. Certificate of good conduct from police.
  6. Four passport size photographs
