J.H. Oort and NOVA Scholarships is been offered by the Astronomy department in Leiden University. This scholarships is provided to International students who intends pursuing a masters program in Astronomy at Leiden University.
The scholarships are for one year, but will be renewed during the second year on a successful completion of the first year. Applicants will receive an allowance of up to € 11,000 per year for living cost.

Eligibility:
To be eligible for this scholarship, applicants must:
- be International students.
- have a BSc degree (or its equivalent) in astronomy or physics.
- have received an offer of place to study at Leiden University.
- be of outstanding academic merit
- be able to demonstrate financial needs.

The statement should include full contact information and it should motivate why the candidate satisfies the two conditions of :
