2026 Scholarship at University of Twente, Netherlands

Applications for the esteemed University of Twente Scholarship (UTS) for the 2026–2027 academic year are now officially open, according to the University of Twente in the Netherlands. This scholarship is intended to help deserving international students from non-EU/EEA nations who want to enroll in one of the most cutting-edge universities in Europe to pursue a master’s degree.

Eligibility: 

• Be a citizen of a non-EU/EEA country.
• Have provisional admission to a UT Master’s programme for 2026/2027.
• Not have graduated from a UT (under)graduate programme.
• Belong to the top 5–10% of their graduating class.
• Hold a valid UT student number after securing admission.
• Meet English language requirements:
  • IELTS 6.5 overall, with at least 6.0 in speaking, OR
  • TOEFL iBT 90, with at least 20 in speaking.
• Be able to finance remaining study/living costs (UTS is partial funding).
• Comply with Dutch visa conditions (if applicable).

Value: Scholarship Value:  €3,000 – €22,000 (for 1 year).
-For 2-year Master’s programmes

• Renewal possible (same amount) for Year 2 if academic progress requirements are met:
  • Average grade ≥ 7/10 by end of 3rd quartile.
  • At least 50% of ECs earned.
